10/09/05 Awards Screening at Funtastic Film Festival
Whirling Dervish is proud to announce they have been nominated for several awards on the bloodshots 48hr film Competition and we are being screened at the Funtastic Film Festival (http://www.fantasticfest.com/) we have been Nominated for the following: Nominated: Best Film, Best Acting, Best Use of Dialogue, Scariest Movie Won: Best Cinematography. 10/05/05 "FR-674345" Premieres at the Alamo Drafthouse Tonight
Tonight at 9:45pm at the Alamo Drafthouse Downtown, "FR-674345" will premiere with about 20 other 48hr film comp entries. Now if you missed this one don't worry it will show again at the Alamo Drafthouse on south Lamar on Sat. the 8th at 11:45pm. 10/03/05 Almost didn't make it...
After a 110 mile trip at 90-100 mph and a ran red light we made the entry with only 2 minutes to spare. We will let the adrenalin come down and make our way back. Keep checking back for more updates.
10/02/05 Production Finishes on "FR-674345"
Its 5:30pm and we are about to head out the door to head to Austin and turn in our film by 7:30pm. After 48hrs and only about 3 hrs of sleep we have finished and put together a rather great film for the time span we had to work with. Keep checking back for more updates.
